If you have been following me on my insta story (if you’re not, then what are you waiting for?!) You may already know who our new family member is. I say she is a family member because she is officially doing the dirty work for us… and it’s about time someone pitches in and helps this mama out! .. just kidding. Sorta.
We were given the bObi Pet to try out and to review. Now first things first, my opinion will always be 100% my own and will alway be truthful. So when I say we all love our bObi Pet. We all LOVE our bObi Pet.
The below picture is everything that comes with the bObi Pet. You have:
- The bObi Pet itself + charging station.
- Extra parts- Brush, filter, mopping cloths, extra main brush holders.
- Phillips screwdriver, cleaning brush and wheels for your brush.
- Stickers to cover the sensors on bObi.
- bObi blOck to prevent your bObi Pet from vacuuming a room or a certain area in the house.
- bObi Remote.
- Owners Manual.
How has this changed my cleaning routine? Well I vacuum a whole lot less. And by less I mean 1-2 times a week vs. every night. Now, I know that’s shocking but we have all hard wood floors in the house. With the boys and the dog running around, our floors get so dirty so quickly. Being the neat freak I am, I like to walk barefoot in my house and not feel crumbs on my feet (that is one of my biggest pet peeve!!). I was recently letting bObi Pet run her cycle during the day, but we found out we can have her on a schedule to clean anytime during the day! So what we started doing was letting her run her cleaning cycle every night at 9pm. SO, now I can go to bed and wake up with clean floors! YAY!
The cool thing is not only does she vacuum for me, I can get her to sweep and mop my floors. Now if I could only get her to do my laundry and cook my food?!
Any cons? Not really, She isn’t loud, and doesn’t talk back! Haha! No but really, I only wish her mopping cloths were a bit bigger. Reason being is because I feel like the mopping cloths gets dry pretty quickly and doesn’t do much mopping after a few minutes. What also threw me off were the patterns she uses to clean. Colin somehow managed to crumble his animal crackers, so I put her to the test and what would normally take me a few seconds to clean the crumbs up took her a bit longer because of the patterns she uses. But she sure did clean everything up for me! She also has the rotating brush that cleans the inner corners so she gets every last bit of dust and crumbs, something my vacuum doesn’t do unless I switch out the parts.
Is it worth $400? Ah, that’s a tough one. I know $400 is a lot to shell out on a robot vacuum cleaner. I know I would have to do some serious convincing for Jordan to agree. What I do know is it’s a lot cheaper than other robot vacuums out there and if you ask me bObi gets the job done, and that’s what matters right?
All in all we love bObi Pet and are so glad she has entered our lives (especially this mama)! If you’re still a bit more curious about the bObi family make sure to visit Adopt a bObsweep to find out more.
