I’m a little late to my fall front porch decor this year. I feel like it snuck up on me sooner than I expected. I had to run to several stores too to find mums because none of the stores around us had any. But I found some, and I do love how the porch looks this year.
Now I need to figure out how to keep these plants alive. Last year they did not last, and this year I want to see if I can keep them thriving, fingers crossed. If you have any tips on caring for mums and keeping them alive, please share them below.

Here’s my secret with pumpkins- don’t buy real ones. They rot, and cleaning them up is a mess. Not only that, you save more, in the long run, purchasing fake ones and reusing them every year! You can slowly build your pumpkin stash too, over the years.
I bought my pumpkins from Hobby Lobby, Micheals, and even Lowes! My two wreaths are old but from MudPie. And really, that is all you need for your front porch decor, pumpkins, mums and hay if you want (but FYI_ that can get messy). I think the key here is stacking different size pumpkins and different size mums.
With a lot of these Fall front porches, you’ll see a lot of the same thing, which makes it easy to copy for yours. So head to Lowes to grab some mums, hay, and ALL the pumpkins your heart can handle!
