Some of these products may not have been launched or released in 2017. But it was something new I tried and what I have fallen in love with! So let’s jump right in…
FOUNDATION:
For a great everyday foundation that isn’t heavy, but that gives you an even coverage I love the bareMinerals Bare Pro and the It Bye Bye Lines.
My cult favorite foundation is the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able. And for a drugstore brand, I love to mix the L’Oreal Infalliable pro-glow and pro-matte for a silky smooth finish!
Concealers:
Bye Bye Under Eye is an amazing concealer, it is a bit heavier, but a little bit goes a long way. I don’t know why I waited so long to try Shape Tape, but it’s been my new favorite. Finally, a lightweight concealer that’s good for every day is the Naked Skin Concealer.
Highlighters:
Farsali Jelly Beam highlighter is amazing, it’s pricey but so worth it. Pixi Beauty highlighters right now are my favorite drugstore highlighters.
Primer:
Farsali Unicorn Essence. I don’t really like using anything else, just because it’s THAT good. I love how tacky it feels after application, it also does great with ANY foundation.
Eyeshadow:
For me this year, there has not been an eyeshadow palette that I am like OH MY GOSH this is amazing. I mean, I really love the Naked Heat palette. But it’s not anything new (shade wise). I think for me, as a mom, the eyeshadow pencils were the best thing I could get. It’s just one color, and easy to use!
Mascara and Eyeliner:
My favorite eyeliner hands down is the Kat Von D tattoo liner. Right up there in my favorites is the IT Superhero liner. Both liners do not budge and last ALL. DAY. LONG.
As far as mascara, I haven’t used or tried any new ones, because I have extensions. Which is the best decision I have made!
Lipstick:
Lipsense will take the lead this year. Not only because I sell it, but because I can enjoy my cup of coffee, kiss my kids, and my lip color will not budge!
Brushes:
Hands down my favorite brushes are from Sigma Beauty (see my top favorites here). They are great quality brushes! They don’t shed, or fall apart. I also have a discount code: “Elly10” for 10% off.
Perfume:
I haven’t tried many perfumes this year, only a hand full. But my new favorite scent is the Ralph Lauren Women. My all-time favorite is the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille.
Haircare products:
I have only a few hair products I love for 2017. Dove hairspray, it’s got a good hold and smells great. Oribe texture spray also smells great! The only downfall is the price. Herbal Essence smooth shampoo and conditioner, they are the best smoothing shampoo and conditioner, it leaves my hair silky soft and smooth!
Body and Face scrubs:
For the body, Dermasuri body scrub mitt. I love that this is a mitt and not a product. For the face, DermaE micro scrub, it’s the only scrub I use 2x a week. It’s not rough on the skin, and my face feels great after!
Facemasks:
Peter Thomas Roth masks, any and all of them! I have tried all of their masks, and eye gels and they are hands down my favorite.
Love my Skyn Iceland hydro eye gels (my favorite eye gels) and also my lip masks from Amazon!
Body creams:
Sol De Janiero Acai body cream, it smells amazing! And the Clarins Body fit cream to help with cellulite!
Facial products:
Clarins, hands down. It has been the one brand that has kept my skin looking healthy, young and fresh. It also does a great job at keeping the breakouts at bay for me. I love, love their double serum!
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed a break down of my favorite beauty products for 2017! Have a great day!
xoxo,

Thanks Elly! Love the little recommendations, especially the part for self-care since I’m a self-care junkie! 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

Thanks for the beauty breakdown! There hasn’t been a lot of buzz about the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines foundation, but I adore their CC cream. Maybe I’ll give it a try.
I love it for an everyday foundation! You can always try a sample from Sephora or Ulta, to see how you like it before you take the plunge! 🙂
