3 Easy Ways to Wear Hair Clips

This post is sponsored by Mirum. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Who loves all the hair accessories currently in this season?! I seriously have bought way too many head scarves, headbands, and hair clips. I love all the hair trends and styles this season. I’ve shared three different ways on how to wear a headscarf, and now I want to share three different and SUPER EASY ways to wear hair clips.

Our hair during the summertime can take a toll in between all the swimming, sun and extra heat with styling. I have been using the Suave Professionals® with Coconut Oil infusion, and I LOVE this stuff! It visibly repairs damage after just three uses (when shampoo and conditioner are used together). It doesn’t weigh my hair down, smells fantastic, and now you can stock up at Walmart and get the 18oz bottles (vs. the 12.06 oz) – that means 40% more AT NO EXTRA COST- P.S. It’s only available at Walmart.

Walmart also carries other Suave Professionals shampoo and conditioner in the 18oz bottle- I’m dying to try the Rosemary Mint one to get a deep clean in my hair and scalp! Now, let’s move on to how to wear the hair clips…

Look #1:

For this look, you don’t have to use a bow clip (it can be any clip). You will want to make sure the clip does have a clasp closure, so it securely holds both sides of your hair. For this look, I grab two pieces right above my ear (each piece about 1″ thick), I twirl each section and secure it in the back with the clip. All done!

Look #2:

Start this look by sectioning your hair straight down the middle, make sure the line is straight- looks best this way! You can play around with where exactly you want each clip and what kind of clips you use. I prefer the clips to look the same and placed precisely in the same spot. Tip- This look is great if you’re trying to grow your bangs out!

 Look #3:

Section your hair in a deep part; it can be the left or right side. Again, make sure your part is straight, or else it’ll look too messy! Now double up on the hair clips! You can have fun with this look also, try adding three clips, in different sizes, or styles! If your clips are a bit big and oversized, I would keep use just two clips. The thinner the clips, the more you can add!

Have you tried the Suave Professionals with Coconut Oil infusion? I’ve been using it for a few months now and I really like how it instantly leaves my hair soft and smooth in the shower! I’ve also seen JB washing his hair with it… he says he likes how it smells?! Don’t forget now is the time to stock up at Walmart and get the 18oz bottles (vs. the 12.06 oz)- that means 40% more AT NO EXTRA COST!!
