You are just weeks, if not days away from having your baby. Once your baby arrives, it will be nothing but attending to his/her needs and wants. So much so that you’ll barely have time to shower or wash your hair, true story!
Today I am sharing three things to do before baby comes for YOURSELF and why it’s important to do so.

Once your baby arrives, it’s all about baby, duh. You’re a milk machine feeding on demand all while being so sleep deprived you mistakingly use your breast milk in your coffee.
I will admit it gets easier as each baby you have (at least it has for me). But one thing remains the same; your “me” time is next to none post baby. Which is why it’s so important to take some “me” time before your baby arrives.

Here are three things I highly suggest you taking time out to do before baby comes.
- Get a manicure and pedicure. And, go all out while you’re at it! Get the scrub, paraffin wax, and the hot towel service!
- Get a prenatal massage. There is nothing more relaxing than getting a full body massage. Go ahead and take a nap during the massage too.
- Get your hair done. Having a fresh hair do will make you feel like a brand new woman! Maybe instead of getting just a trim, try asking your hair stylist for a look that’s easy to maintain post baby, and that doesn’t require a lot of time.
These three ideas/suggestions are not rocket science, nor are they anything grand. But what I want you to take away from this is to invest in yourself and pour into yourself before your precious bundle arrives.
Many mamas I know forget about themselves. Not that they do it on purpose, but how can you give when your tank is empty? Getting pampered before baby arrives may even help you postpartum.

Ooh, I like the idea of pampering yourself before the baby! You’re looking radiant too!

I love these tips! They’re so simple, but I don’t think people realize how important they really are once the baby is born and you feel all yucky about yourself. I’ve already been planning the best time to get my hair done so that I can go as long as possible without having to go back after giving birth lol

Yes I couldn’t agree more Jessica! I couldn’t get a hair appt before I had Liam, and I am kicking myself in the butt for not planning ahead of time! So you enjoy the “me” time!!
Regular checkup and adjustments is very helpful in treating pains from pregnant women. Some should consider doing regular visits to their trusted prenatal massage services.
