It’s officially Fall!! To kick off the crisp fall air we are experiencing here, Houston, let’s talk nail colors! Specifically, five nail colors to try this Fall. You know I love doing my nails, and if you’re ever looking for more nail ideas (I have seasonal posts that we are constantly updating!).
I always tend to do gel on my nails but had to take a break recently. My nails have been fragile and brittle, so instead of doing fun nail designs, I have been coloring them with fall nail colors to inspire me for Fall!
You know nothing says Fall like dark and vampy colors. But this year, you see a lot of muted and softer hues too. A lot of blue and purple, softer greens as well.
A tip on finding your best fall nail color is to know your undertone and then pick a shade. If you have a cool undertone, the polishes with a blue undertone or cooler colors will look best. If you have a warm undertone, find colors that have a warm tone, colors will be a bit warmer and yellow.

This color was speaking to me I swear! If I had to sum up Fall with just one color THIS would be it! Notice how this color is warmer- perfect for my girls with olive skin tones.

Soft still, so pretty! I love this color, and I love soft pastels for winter. It’s different than the dark colors, but still so cute! This pretty blue in a matte shade would be SO stunning!
Color: Suzie The First Lady of Nails

I have been on the HUNT for a dark green and this color is everything! Not only is it great for Fall but also a great color to bring into Winter for Christmas time!

Brand: L.A. Girl
ude for Fall isn’t groundbreaking, but the key in making a nude work for Fall is going deeper and darker nude hues. This is probably the best nude polish I have tried for my skin in a long time!
Color: Dulce Amor
Brand: Ella + Mila
You’ll see a lot of purples and lavender for Fall. But I love this shade, mainly because it’s almost a mauve purple. SO pretty, and I think this one color could work great on different skin tones too!
