Ahhh, mom life. Does any other mother get through her day with coffee? Coffee is my life at home. I kid you not: it makes my day if coffee is brought to me. Buy me coffee, and I will love you forever.
It’s funny because I didn’t drink coffee at one point in my life. My teenage years didn’t involve much coffee at all. I vividly remember my family always gathering around the table to drink coffee with pastry and chat. Brazil is big on this… we love eating cake and coffee together. #breakfastofchampions
Fast-forward to life with kids and I think there needs to be some innovation to where I can hook myself up to a coffee IV. If you’re a parent, you will know exactly what I am talking about.
My days are long, very long. As a mother, I wear multiple hats. I’m a mother (that in itself is 15 hats, ha!), a wife, a chef, a house cleaner, a driver, I run countless errands, and my list can go on and on.
I thought it would be fun to share with you what really goes on behind the scenes and a day to day in my house. I do work, but thankfully my job allows me to work from home (one of the many reasons why I love blogging). I’m also incredibly grateful that because I do work from home, we can take our time in the morning, watching cartoons and eating breakfast together.
Don’t be fooled, my days are full of poop, and having to repeat myself over, and over again! But that’s the beauty of it: life is crazy, my boys are filled with energy, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just the other day I was able to see Jadyn’s Thanksgiving feast and have lunch with him. Something I probably wouldn’t be able to do if I worked outside the house.
The days are long, but the years are short. I get through my days one cup of caramel yumminess a day, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts® at Home for their new Bakery Series® coffee. I can now bring back those memories of my parents chatting around the table and making memories, something I hope to do with my kids, as they get older. After all, coffee always brings people together!
How many cups do you drink a day? Comment below! Would love to hear how many cups you get through the day.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! xoxo,
