Call me maybe! An all white outfit

It’s Monday!  YAY! Second week of the year. How are you doing with your resolutions? Are you on track or already falling off the wagon? So far things are on track here! Except I need to catch back up on a few days that I missed reading from She Reads Truth.

In other news, my little Jadyn is 3 today! 3, AHHH!!!!!!! I can’t believe he is no longer a toddler, my gosh I still remember it so vividly going back to work after having 3 months off and walking in with a Venti (because you know, the only thing that saved me back then was Jesus and coffee. Actually, that still holds true today!) I felt like a total zombie with everything being so different, especially after my first baby. I still remember walking in and a fellow coworker (who also has kids and knew I was coming back from maternity leave) saw me and asked how I was doing and of course I said good but, exhausted. He then said, “don’t worry two years will go by so quick and it will get better”! Now, here I am THREE years later, and I just can’t seem to get over how my Jadyn is 3!!! Okay let me stop before this becomes a sob fest!

Lets talk outfit. I love the crisp, clean look of an all white outfit! It’s chic and can be worn super girly, or very minimalistic and with lots of edge.  For this look my inspiration was my Jetsetter backpack. Black and white, two colors that you can never ever go wrong.

I was able to go to Toosties for their sale event (going on now through January 17th) and found this adorable Trina Turk skirt! Sad to admit that this is actually my first white skirt (now that the kids are a little bit older it’s safe to bring out my whites and buy new pieces). I added a white sweater and tucked it in to show off the A-line skirt. For my accessories I added black bold, and chunky details to give my look some edge! You know me, I like to mix things up! To top of my look I added a bold red lip to make it pop against the neutral but kept my hair and makeup sleek and clean to offset with the bold lip!
