Happy Hump Day!
Today I have teamed up with Aerosoles to bring you a fun post with a nautical chic look + my favorite spots in Houston. We live the North West part of Houston, but anytime I get a chance to go out you will find me at my favorite spots in Houston, TX, It’s no surprise that all my favorite spots have some of the best food.
Let’s first start by breaking down my look. I love a shirt-dress for Spring/Summer, especially when it’s white! Dress it up or down, layer it up with a jacket, or even with a skirt. Your options are endless.
I love having a natural look and adding color and this bag is no exception. I love the yellow and the anchor just adds that nautical look that pairs perfectly with the denim loafers. This gorgeous yellow bag was just released today, get up to $100 off with your purchase too (yellow comes in stunning cross body too).
Now on to the denim loafers. Denim shoes have been a HUGE trend this season, and rightfully s0! These flats literally hug my feet. These are officially the comfiest flats I have and will not be taking these off…. ever. I feel like I’m walking on clouds!
Now lets chat about my favorite spots in HTX…
Sweet in City Center. Love, love, love this place and obsessed with the macarons and their coffee is legit. They also have fun coffee art, which makes it even better! City Center is one of my favorites spots and top of my list in Houston. They have green turf for the kids to run around and plenty of restaurants with outside seating for you to enjoy the weather while the kids go crazy… or maybe it’s just my boys that go crazy? If I’m alone I love to sit outside and listen to music with my new Sudio headphones that offer a swedish premium design + quality sound. They are also the lightest headphones in the market. Second spot is in Highland Village which includes more food and shopping along with Sprinkles cupcakes! I mean do I need to say more? It’s Cupcakes in a ATM, it does not get any better then that! I love the small town feeling of Highland Village. This is actually my favorite spot during the Holidays when they put up the Christmas lights.
Last but not least is Montrose. Again, I love the feel of Montrose with all the small coffee shops and Thrift shopping! They also have so many cool wall arts (great for taking pictures!) along the side of just about every building. I could stay there all day and shop till I drop. A must place to go while in Montrose is Dripped nails. They can do just about any nail art and they keep to 100% … is that still cool to say? Haha!
Thank you so much for stopping by and “touring” Houston with me! Have a great day!! And if you’re ever in Houston, I hope you stop by these places!
This post is in partnership with Aerosoles. As always thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting those who make Uptown with Elly Brown possible!
