Family has and will always be the most important thing to me. My desire is not that you only pick up a few fasion tips from my blog but for all women to be encouraged and inspired in all aspects of life, because at the end of the day beauty fades but family lasts forever! As I stated on my IG a few days ago, #familyFridays has been a desire of mine for a while now. It’s a time where all us momma’s can connect by sharing trips, snack ideas, simple DIY projects for the family (I say simple because I can’t do anything more than simple) what works for us, and what doesn’t. There will be no judging nor pointing fingers, just us gals helping each other out.
I admit I’m not the craftiest momma out there, but I do try my best. I am also not the best at DIY, but again, I do try my best. I saw these two white canvases at Micheals a while back (like a year ago) and this idea of arts and crafts came to me, and at the time Colin was still too small so I just waited. We have been getting rain NON STOP here in Houston, so one afternoon when the sun finally peeked out I decided to take the boys out and let them go at it. We had so much fun! Jadyn loved every second of it. Colin just kept trying to eat the paint, hence paint all over his face. Jordan was also able to get a really sweet recording of us painting.
I hung the boys painting upstairs in the movie room, and whenever Jadyn sees it he points to it and starts mumbling. I feel like each time he does that he is telling me how much fun he had. Funny thing is, I think I got more out of our arts and crafts then both of the boys. One day my boys will grow up and not want to paint with momma anymore and all I am promised is now so I want to make the best of now.
I hope you will join in with me on #familyfridays. Twice a month make sure to look back on the blog for something new! Don’t forget to hashtag #familyfridays to join in on the fun! I look forward to seeing your tips and tricks, who know maybe you could be making an appearance on the blog!
P.S. To the momma who’s just having a hard day today, you’re doing a great job! Keep fighting the good fight!
