A special Thank you to Smile Brilliant for partnering with me to bring you this post. All stories and opinions are 100% my own.
So a few weeks back I showed you how to create your custom fit trays with Smile Brilliant for at home teeth whitening. If you missed that post go here. I got my trays and have been using them about 3 times a week and I have LOVED the results. My teeth are about 3 shades lighter, and I still have one syringe left.
A few weeks after I sent my impressions back I got my clear custom fit trays. For the first few days I tried using just the whitening gel and that didn’t go too well. I thought my teeth/gums weren’t sensitive but, I guess I was wrong. I had to wait a few days for my gums to get back normal and decided to follow the instructions this time by first applying the desensitizing gel. (So glad they offer the desensitizing gel, because it has made a world of a difference!)
I wait 15 minutes with the desensitizing gel on before rinsing the trays off to insert the whitening gel next. Note: DO NOT rinse off your mouth, or else you just wasted 15 minutes. After I cleaned off the trays I insert the whitening gel and wait. I normally do the trays for 30-45 minutes, sometimes less. You also do not need a lot of the gel for the whitening nor the desensitizing gel. Each syringe should last you 3 times.
After you are done with the whitening gel just clean off the trays and your teeth, and you are all done! I love doing this at home, but what I love even more is that I have been able to run errands with the trays on. I hardly even notice that they are on, or having to worry about how I look.
Don’t forget you can also get 5% off today by using code: Uptownwithellybrown at checkout. YAY for not having to go to the dentist to get professional whitening done, or having to break the bank! You’re welcome.
I hope you are having a fantastic day! Stay tuned for more beauty tips and how-to’s coming this week!
