Black Jumpsuit x What I’m thankful for

IT’S FRIDAYYYYYY!!!

Can I get an amen?! I am so so thrilled it’s the weekend. This weekend we are getting our deck done, and I will be on the look out for a trampoline to put in the back yard for Jadyn and Colin. The boys had so much fun at my sister’s house and her trampoline that we decided we should get one for them. The fact that I will be able to enjoy the slightly cooler temps outside and watch the boys (with my cup of coffee, of course) makes me ecstatic.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The month of November is always a time of reflection for me. It’s a time where I look back on the year and evaluate what I have done, what I need to change and most importantly what I am thankful for.

Today instead of listing the obvious people and things I am thankful for, today I wanted to say thank you to YOU.

To my followers and my readers, who have become an extended family. Thank you for following along, thank you for being here during my miscarriage. Thank you for the support, the comments, the love, and following along. Without you, there would not be Uptown with Elly Brown.

Uptown is close to two years old, and the fact that there are thousands of people who follow along just blows my mind. I pinch myself all the time. I do not take any of for granted.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with my advice on all things womanhood (is that even a word?). You all are amazing.
