Everything You Need to Know About Facial Oils
Let's chat facial oils today! I remember long ago when facial oils were such a bad thing and frowned upon. There were so many myths surrounding them like; they can clog your pores or cause even more breakouts! But as we have seen, those are indeed myths!
Before I share a few of my favorite facial oils, I wanted to answer a few common questions. After all, the more you know, the more you grow, right?! Also, I want to remind you, I am not an esthetician, nor am I trying to be one. I'm just here sharing a few nuggets I have learned and what has worked for me.

How do you find the best facial oil?
That's easy; it all depends on your skin needs. Are you looking for something anti-aging? Do you need a fresh glow? Something a little more hydrating? The first step in finding out the best facial oil for you is merely looking at your skin needs.
Do facial oils really work?
It depends on what you mean by "work." Most facial oils will hydrate and give your skin an extra layer of protection, right? Most facial oils will also help your skin feel soft, plumped, and smooth. Think of oils as a booster ingredient to your skin. They will not replace your skincare routine or moisturizer.
When should I apply facial oil?
After your serums, but BEFORE your moisturizer, unless you are using your oil as a moisturizer. Some people also apply both morning and night. I tend to apply only at night unless I am not wearing makeup that day and just want my skin to breathe.
