How to Wear Floral Pants

Floral pants have been around for a long time, and it's safe to say they won't go anywhere. Florals are feminine and chic, but can always be mixed with leather for some edge.

Today I wanted to share a summer look with these fun floral pants. Now, I know many of us are looking into having transitional pieces for our closet, but us Houstonians will have plenty of warm days ahead of us, unfortunately.
But, florals don't need to be and nor should they be worn just in the Spring/Summer time. Florals also look great in the winter. Floral pants like this can be mixed up with ankle booties and a knit sweater for more of an appropriate fall look. Floral has been such a hit recently that you see a lot of embroidered floral in denim.

My biggest advice when it comes to floral pants is to make sure the pants fit well. Wide trousers like mine here need to hit a certain length or else it won't look right. If the hem hits the ankle, (because of the print, and cut of the trousers) it'll make you look boxy, especially if you're petite.
Another tip, try mixing prints, I LOVE wearing stripes and florals. It's so chic! Here are three different ideas on how to wear floral pants; one, two, and three.
