Our Bathroom Update

Trying to decorate a home and make it yours is a… process. And that's being generous ?. I mean, we have only been in our home for a year, and I know we have a LONG way to go. But I have ZERO paitence and want things done, like yesterday. One of my biggest goals this year is to get at least the main rooms done and complete and not go broke in the process. And we are starting off with a bathroom update first. (KEEP SCROLLING FOR AN UPDATE AND GRAND REVEAL)!

I am no interior designer, and much like my personal style, I like a little bit of everything, AND I'm hoping it works out in the end. However, I have learned that making a mood board helps me stay focused, and I'm more intentional with buying. Because I know what I want, I can see the bigger picture. There is a lot less buying, returning, and figuring out how things go in the space.

I thought it would be fun to share my mood boards for each room as we decorate and update the space here with you! I would also love to hear your thoughts and get your input too!

Our bathroom update is not huge, though. Although maybe years down the road, I would love to update the tile and countertops in there, it's not a NEED right now. The house was built in the '80s, so some updates are needed, but not anything significant. At least not in our bathroom.

For the most part, I think the most significant change needed in our bathroom is to update the light fixtures, and we already painted the space last year. The rest, I think, is finding a few pieces to decorate, but because the tub is such a beautiful space, I want to let the architecture speak for itself and not compete with anything else.

Here are two images and a better look at the "before" of the space!

I really love shopping at Wayfair, so many of my home decor items are from Wayfair, you can find just about anything there, the quality is excellent, and with great prices too! I'm always on their website, trying to find deals and items for the house.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE AFTER???! I DON'T THINK YOU'RE READY ? ...

So those are some items I have bought and put together! Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the toilet room. Any ideas? Send them my way!

Let me know down below, are you loving the direction we are going here? I can't wait to share the full review with you! Stay tuned
