Happy Bump day!
It’s been a while since I have done a bump update, so I wanted to share what’s going on with Liam and some updates.
Let’s first talk about this look. This is one of the looks I shot in NYC. Unfortunately, it was so stinking cold and raining the day of the shoot we shot indoors. I feel like this is the perfect NYC look.
This dress is a maternity dress, and perfect for Spring. The drop waist trend is huge, and I think it’s perfect if you’re pregnant.
I added a feminine necklace (which just launched recently at Baublebar, and they are also having a huge sale- 50% off!) to compliment the dress. But to mix things up, I added these fun embroidered sneakers which I am obsessed with!
Fashion sneakers are HOT right now, and I love it! My feet can only take heels so much with this growing bump.
To go with my sneakers, I added this denim jacket from ILY Couture. I went up a size for more of a loose/boyfriend fit but, I would recommend ordering your size unless you are also preggers. The details on this denim jacket are adorable; I love the patchwork and the zippers! The fade of the jacket is also really unique, and slightly edgy which I also really love.
Now on to the bump update…
How am I feeling?
Good. Better then a few weeks ago, NYC wiped me out. I was so drained when I got back.
How is baby Liam?
Good! He is growing, and growing fast. The last ultrasound I had, he measured a week ahead. Well, I went to the doctor earlier this week, and I mentioned how much he moves, and how I feel like he is always kicking out. The doctor measured my belly, and sure enough, I measure 2 1/2 weeks ahead.
That doesn’t mean much other then I have a big baby. I blame this on my husband. His mother’s side of the family all had like 8-10lb babies.
Little man is so active in here. He is the most active baby I have had. This boy does not stop in my belly. It’s funny to see how much he pushes out, stretches, and rolls around.
Am I sleeping?
Thank the Lord I am sleeping better. I had to get rid of my snoogle. Now I use two pillows for my back and legs. For whatever reason, the snoogle was not working anymore.
Any other updates?
I passed my glucose test (YAY!), but we found out I am anemic (whomp, whomp). I switched my prenatal vitamins for ones that have more iron, so let’s see if that does the trick. When you’re pregnant you should be taking 27mg of Iron, and my prenatal only had 18 mg.
The low iron would explain the sluggish and out of breath I have been experiencing. So, hopefully, that goes away soon. We are also having our 4d ultrasound in a few weeks. We will find out more about how big Liam is, and how much he is growing.
I officially can’t see my feet when I look down too, my belly is getting so big!
