Happy Hump Day, or shall I say bump day! Haha, you can roll your eyes on that one, It was cheesy.
Being pregnant as a style blogger has been very fun. You see, when I was pregnant with the boys, believe it or not, I didn’t look so cute. I wore my pre-baby jeans almost the entire pregnancy. I even busted a few zippers doing so and lived in basic tees.
Asos at the time had a few cute clothes, but I really couldn’t just do all the shopping I do now. I had worked in corporate America before I had Jadyn and 90% of my pregnancy with Colin. So I couldn’t just buy or wear whatever I wanted.
My last few weeks with Jadyn’s pregnancy was also very hard, I was borderline pre-eclampsia. The swelling was SO bad that I could only fit into flip-flops (even that hurt). I was induced with Jadyn with my blood pressure being 140/70, which is very, very, high for me.
I say this to say, that as a style blogger, I’ve been exposed to so many great maternity and baby brands, and it makes being pregnant fun! I remember looking for diaper bags and cringing at all of them. The only ones that were remotely cute had way too many florals, and the hubby did not have it.
One of my favorite handbag brands now has the cutest and chicest diaper bags, or shall I say backpack. And guys, I am in love. Not only is it incredibly chic, but it’s well thought out. It has plenty of pockets, storage, and a changing pad. Bonus points for me overhearing Jordan say that he was going to be using this backpack for Liam. #coolbabydaddy
Henri Bendel also has an adorable baby bag with even more storage and compartments that can be worn as a crossbody too, AND it’s water resistant. I have it in blue and love mine.
Let’s say bye to those old diaper bags, and rock motherhood in chic diaper bags. After all, only a chic diaper bag will make you feel good about having to pack 1 million different things for the baby because you never know what could happen. Something I am not looking forward to, haha!
