We are on our phones A LOT. Probably more than what we should be. I try to make it a habit to have apps on my phone that I need for work, life (like maps), or apps that will help me better myself. I am a FIRM believer to watch what you’re feeding your souls with. What are you listening to? What are you looking at and watching? So today, I want to share 10 Christian apps I use daily!
They say you become what you eat, I say- you become what you watch or even listen to. If you put in gossip, fear, hate, soon enough- your actions will soon follow. You can’t plant a sunflower seed and expect a rose bush. It just doesn’t work that way, right?!
Here are the 10 apps I use daily and love…
She Reads Truth is designed with the community in mind. Free and paid Bible- reading plans with subscriptions available. It also has a free “Bible In A Year” reading plan along with downloadable lock screens for your phone. You can also customize your experience and keep your notes and highlights safe!
2. Echo Prayer
Keep track of all your prayers in one place! You can also create groups to pray for each other, as well as encourage one another.
Keep track of your prayers, notify others when you prayed for them, and more!
3. Bible
It’s hard to stay centered on God & His Word. YouVersion Bible App gives you tools to seek God’s heart daily: listen to audio Bibles, create Prayers, study with Friends, explore 2,000+ Bible versions, and much more.
The RightNow Media app gives you instant access to a vast library of Bible study videos, kids shows, and training content. Access powerful Biblical video content and training any time, anywhere – for you and your family! P.S. We use this A LOT here at home for the kids too!
5. First 5
Developed by Proverbs 31 Ministries. First 5 was specifically designed to greet you with a short teaching in God’s Word first, before you get distracted by social media and everything else screaming for your attention.
6. Dwell
Browse popular Bible verses or curated playlists that include select verses by theme. Six different recordings of the Holy Bible—each showcasing a distinct and inspiring voice. – I love using the “A Peaceful Night” playlist to fall asleep to!
7. Podcasts
Discover free audio stories that entertain, inform, and inspire. This app doesn’t need much of an intro- except remember to listen to things that will edify you! People that will build you, encourage you, and challenge you to be a better YOU.
8. Pray.com
Bible Stories take you through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation with vivid detail with the world’s known voice actors. Sleep Bible Stories help you calm your mind, ease your spirit, and learn the Bible as you go to sleep.
9. Audible
Find listens for every moment. Choose worthy audiobooks, exclusive podcasts, and more. Another app that doesn’t need much of an introduction. But a gentle reminder to be protective of what you’re listening to!
10. Bookclubz
This is a new app for me, but I love it! Which P.S. If you want to join Uptown’s book club– we kicked off this month reading “To Hell with the Hustle”.
Bookclubz helps book clubs get organized, so they stay together. Use Bookclubz to manage membership, select books, schedule meetings, track RSVPs, keep a library, share recommendations, and find inspiration for your next book club read. This is *technically* not a Christian app, but I’m using it to read faith-based books and to connect with other women.
Comment below, have you tried any of these apps? Love them, not a fan? Share more with me below!
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!
