Happy Friday Eve!

I love a chiffon dress! Who doesn’t? It’s the perfect date night dress, you can eat all you want and not have to worry about sucking it in. (Am I the only one who does that?!)

When I saw this dress from Pink Blush I knew I had to have it! I love the pretty colors and how the dress fits. A Chiffon dress like this is a must have in every women’s closet! Why? Because it’s easy, it’s pretty, and you don’t have to think about it too much. Besides, have I mentioned that this dress is on sale for only $20?! It would be a crime if you didn’t buy this dress.

The pink blush color on this dress is flattering on any skin tone. Believe it or not, this dress can easily be transitioned into fall. This dress would look adorable with OTK boots and a wrap cardigan like this one here.

Lets also talk about my pictures for a hot second, you may not know but, the hunk of my life is the man behind the lens in all my pictures! We have a Nikon camera and have always shot my pictures on auto. Silly of us I know… although we still don’t know much about photography and we don’t understand all the buttons on our camera, we did learn a new trick.

It’s a nightmare to take pictures during the Houston heat. So we have been taking pictures sunset time. Well that has been causing my pictures to become dark- so many outfits that I have not been able to post because it’s just too dark. We have finally learned to shoot on aperture mode (thank you Lilly for the advice!).  Jordan has played around with the aperture settings to adjust the lighting … and TADA! We now have bright, crisp pictures that I didn’t even need to edit! There’s your tip of the day. If your rolling your eyes because you already knew this, well then shame on you for not sharing! Just kidding.. kinda.

Have a good day! As always, thank you for supporting those who make Uptown with Elly Brown possible!
