Comfy, Casual and Chic Christmas Outfits

Whatever your plans may be for Christmas, I know we probably have one thing in common. We want to look cute, but we also want to be comfy. We don’t want to compromise one or the other, am I right? So, since Christmas is just a week away, I wanted to share cute, comfy, and chic Christmas outfits.

I am not sure what our plans are for this year, but I love watching the kids get so excited to see that Santa came, last year you may recall the kids woke up at 3 AM and came down to open presents. The video we captured was priceless, and I can only imagine what this year will be like 🤣. Hopefully, no one wakes up before 6 AM 🥴. We plan on driving up north to Tyler and SA to see family, but plans are not determined yet. And since Christmas does land on the weekend this year, we will be serving and helping out at church too!

I know many of you loved the cute, cozy, and comfy Thanksgiving outfits post; I wanted to do another one but with Christmas outfits! No high heels, no dresses or skirts! I hope you love this post and are inspired by the looks below, I tried to make sure the key pieces were also available before Christmas in case you wanted to purchase. Lastly, if you’re not into sparkle or sequins for New Year, these outfits would also look great for any New Year plans you may have.

Let’s dive in, shall we?

This is an example to visually show you how you can easily layer and elevate a very casual look (sweater, jeans, and sneakers) by adding a tweed blazer. If you want to be cozy and comfy but still festive, this is a great way to do so!

Elly Brown wear skinny jeans with pearl headband and a feminine black top from amazon

Outfit details: top / pants / shoes / headband

Amazon for the win with this top (also comes in red!) But this is such a fun top, and not just for the holidays too! I also appreciate that the tank underneath has a built-in bra. It’s the little things, right?

Elly Brown wear faux leather pants with a pink shacket from Bloomingdales and pink kitten keels from Zara

Outfit details: top / jacket / pants / shoes

One-color combo I love more than any other, pink and red. I love this outfit for a few reasons, one; these pants. Two; the shacket; and three; the color combo! Instead of pairing this look with a blazer or jacket, I love the unexpected twist and color of this pink shacket (also on sale!). I added pink kitten heels because I am equally obsessed with these shoes.

Elly Brown wears a tweed blazer outfit with black loafers from Sam Edelman and skinny black jeans

Outfit details: blazer / jeans / shoes

When all else fails, loafers, skinny jeans, and a blazer. This tweed blazer has a little bit of sparkle, so it’s perfect for the holiday occasion. Keeping this outfit easy but still put together, an all-black look to let the blazer stand out!

Elly brown wears a lace sweater and Hudson split hem jeans from Rent The Runway

Outfit details: sweater / pants / shoes

A whole look from RTR, I love my subscription from RTR! I love adding new items to my closet without committing to buying a ton of clothes! If you don’t want to buy a whole new outfit for the holiday parties, RTR is a great option. You can rent clothes and accessories and wear them as much as you want, tons of designers to choose from, fast shipping, and it’s less wasteful! If you’re going to sign up and try, you can use code: RTRELLY for 40% off your first two months!

Elly brown wears a matching long sleeve and pants set from amazon

outfit details: top / pants / shoes / headband

Nothing says comfy than a matching set, and this one is SO good. I love sets like this because you can wear them together, or separately too!

What do your plans look like this year? Do you already have an outfit picked out? Be sure to let me know below! Thanks so much for stopping by!
