MAN, guys, you know I’m going to talk about last night’s game right off the bat. WHAT. A. GAME. The last 9 minutes of the game was so nerve wrecking. I gave up during the 4th quarter and went to take a shower, and then the Patriots all of a sudden came back, and well history was made. I was pacing the living room floor like some crazy lady. Jordan was laughing at me. Jokes on him because the Patriots won!!
I just had to get that out there. I know some of you may not even care about football. I didn’t either, once upon a time. My first football game was to Jordan’s college football game, and I didn’t even know what a touchdown was.
Okay, now I am done talking about football. Let’s move on to my outfit; I love this look. It’s chic and polished while still very street style. I love how the polished details with the slouchy t-shirt and ripped denim pull the whole look together.
You may recognize this blazer from awhile back when I wore it with a silk dress for more of a dressed up look. Well, this time around I wanted to dress it down and keep it relaxed.
Let’s break down the look together:
I kept my accessories simple, and minimal. I layered my necklaces, but kept them dainty and nothing over the top. I went with pointy pumps because pointy shoes will always make a look a bit more sophisticated and also lady like. Finally, to keep the look casual I paired it with a slouchy tee and ripped denim.
This look can easily be replicated, and also can be worn for work (minus the ripped denim). You can also opt for a different blazer (it doesn’t have to be a velvet blazer). I did, however, link a similar velvet blazer for under $21 below (you’re welcome!).
