I’m very particular about how the boys dress, and Jordan is even more so than I. Unfortunately, it’s rubbed off on the boys. Jadyn and Colin are also at the age where they are very outspoken about what they like and don’t want.
Add all these factors into the equation, and you can see why it’s so difficult for me to coordinate Easter outfits for kids (can someone PLEASE tell me it’s not only my family who deals with this)?!
I have learned over the years and occasions when it comes to shopping for multiple kids; it’s easiest just to buy everything you need in ONE place. That way you are not running around all over the place, and it’s a one-stop shop. Or so to speak.
I have always loved the selection Macy’s carries for special occasions and Easter dressing for the kids, and even family! I have always been able to find name brands at an affordable price!
Macy’s Easter selection is HUGE. So many great pieces for boys and girls from the cutest Spring dresses, to the stretch jackets and pants for boys. They also have a great selection of children’s clothing that is a bit more laid back, but still perfect for special occasions.
To kick off Macy’s VIP Sale I wanted to share a few tips on how to make shopping Easter outfits for kids a little bit easier.
- Plan ahead. Better safe than sorry or scrambling last minute trying to find an outfit for everyone.
- Pick three colors you want everyone to wear and build the outfits from those colors.
- Try different patterns, but stick to the same color (makes pattern play the easiest). Different patterns allow the kid’s personality to come through.
- Get the kids involved. When ordering online, I always get the kids involved and ask them what they think or what they want. It gets them excited, and they make the connection between buying the clothes and then eventually wearing them. It also gives them ownership of the clothes they helped pick out.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
