Easy Pumpkin Cake Recipe

Are you a pumpkin lover? If so, then this easy pumpkin cake recipe is for YOU. Heck, even if you don’t like pumpkin flavor, you’ll still love this. I say this because my sister isn’t a fan of pumpkin cake, and she left our house with this recipe to make for herself.

This may be the easiest pumpkin cake you’ll make! It’s SO good, like melt in your mouth soft and yummy all in one. I have been making this recipe for years now. When I was a nanny, this recipe was given to me, like waaaaay before I even had kids. To this day, every fall and winter I make this cake, and I swear this cake doesn’t last 24 hours in our home.

Easy and moist pumpkin cake recipe for the holiday season!


  • Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees.

Ingredients you’ll need;

    • 4 eggs
    • 1 cup of Vegetable Oil
    • 2 cups of Sugar
    • 1 150z can of Pumpkin Puree
    • 2 cups of Flour
    • 2 tbs of Baking Powder
    • 1 tsp of Baking Soda
    • ½ tsp of salt
    • 2 tsp Cinnamon
    • ½ Ginger
    • ½ Cloves
    • ½ Nutmeg


Mix the first 4 ingredients until you reach a smooth consistency. Add your dry ingredients and blend everything well. Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. I like to use a 9×13 pan like this one.

Icing Ingredients;

  • 1 8oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 Stick of Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp of Milk
  • 1 Tbsp of Vanilla
  • 4 Cups of Powder Sugar


Beat your cream cheese, butter, milk, and vanilla until soft. Add sugar until spread is smooth for cake.
