Family Friendly Summer Bucket List Ideas

Summertime is here, and I could not be more thrilled. Summer is my favorite season. And now, with a big backyard and a pool- I am taking it all in with the kids! I even declared that every afternoon is swim time. We’re not promised tomorrow, and I want to be intentional with the time I have- and I want to be present with the kids. Jadyn is off to 4th grade, Colin to 3rd, and Liam to KINDER (I’m a mess)- time flies. So this summer, I made a family friendly summer bucket list (download a printable PDF here), and I thought it would be fun to share it with you. And if you’re looking for things to do with the kids AT HOME, visit this post for more ideas!

I’m so grateful that we found our home, to be able to have a pool in the back with so much space is just amazing. We have loved hanging outside every evening in the back. Whether it’s taking care of our garden and watching the veggies grow. To just having lemonade and enjoying the Houston heat. It’s become an oasis for us all. I love every inch of it, and I’m so thankful for our new home.

School for us starts even earlier this year, which is early August, so we will try to do one item on our bucket list a week. I’m currently struggling with the kids on wanting to do something every day, but I told them unless they are paying- it’s once a week! So here our bucket list for this summer-

I have no idea how to do some of the items above, but we will google and figure it out?. I know for the kids especially, it’ll be more about creating the memories than how a shirt comes out. We have already been off to a good start this summer and already got several things done! Can’t wait to look back and see all the fun memories we made.
