Family Gender Reveal

It’s here; it’s finally here! Our family gender reveal photo shoot, and Baby Brownie IS A GIRL!!!!

We are over the moon and so thrilled about Baby Brownie (see my pregnancy announcement in this post here), she is growing healthy and strong and is perfect! We got to see her last week, and I can not believe we are pregnant again. Well, I’m pregnant again, JB is not?. I also want to thank you guys for all the love and support! I love that you all are as excited as we are!

It was extremely hard having to narrow down our family gender reveal photos but, here I hope you love them as much as we do!

So how are we feeling and doing? Well, I have a lot of emotions/thoughts/feelings, thoughts like… what the heck do I do with a girl?? All I know are boys. Oh my gosh, Jordan is going to be in trouble with all the shopping! And will the dynamic of the house change now?

I know this will all come, and my mother instincts will know what to do. But you know, my motherhood journey has always been about being a #boymom, and now I lose that title… and it feels weird.

To be honest, being a girl mom, and raising a daughter in today’s world is a bit daunting. Raising boys for me seems a lot more natural and feels easier (although it is most definitely NOT).

We’ve always wanted 4 kids, and JB wanted a girl more then I did. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I wanted a girl (remember the pink shoe post a few years ago? I still have them!), but being a boy mom is fun. I know this sounds bad too, but I like being the queen of the house. I get all the attention, my boys spoil me, and having a girl will change that!?

At the end of the day, we are grateful that Baby Brownie is healthy, and growing strong. That is all we could ask for, and we are thankful that God has chosen to bless us with another baby. I hope the transition from 3 to 4 will be smoother than 2 to 3, haha!

Thank you again so much for all your love and your support, we can’t wait to meet baby brownie. And no, we don’t have a name yet… it’s so much pressure to name someone!
