Every fall and winter season, without fail, faux leather is a big trend. This season specifically I want all faux leather leggings and faux leather joggers (currently on my 4th pair of faux bottoms, still have these and LOVE them). It’s edgy, and chic all in one and goes great with anything!
I saw these faux leather joggers a while back and love them, specifically, because the joggers aren’t all faux leather. These joggers have a knit material in the back that gives (and keeps) a flattering fit. The fit as well isn’t oversized, so it’s not baggy. Making it great for work, or even for date night.
Wear these joggers with heels, for more of a sophisticated urban chic look, or pair them with slip-on sneaker and you have got yourself a cute casual mom outfit great for running errands.
Shifting Gears-
A lot of you know what’s going on with our pregnancy. If not, here are the cliff notes; I went in for my ultrasound, and there was only a sack, no baby yet. I measured 4 weeks and 6 days, and not 6 weeks and 6 days like I thought I was. I have done some blood work as well, and the HCG levels did go up, but not double as they expected. Also, I am no stranger to this, I had a blight Ovum 2 years ago before Liam (you can read more here).

Tomorrow we will have our second ultrasound to see if maybe indeed I am a lot earlier (week wise) then we thought. I know a lot of you have been praying for us, and I can not thank you enough.
I have gotten a lot of questions on how I stay so positive, and what is it that keeps me positive, I plan on sharing more with you guys on that. But for now, I wanted to mention one thing…

You all know I am very outspoken about my faith, and what I believe and WHO I believe in. God is my source for all things, BUT- I can not sit back and expect for things to happen, for God to give me peace and joy. I have to put it into action.
When worry and fear creep in, I have two options- I can dwell on it, and let my mind spin out of control, or I can grab hold of those feelings, and emotions and replace them with the word of God. I can replace them with his promises (that can be found throughout the bible).
The enemy comes to do three things- steal, kill, destroy. If he can steal your faith, your joy, your peace, game over.
Romans 12;2 in the NLT translation says, “don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think…”.
Phillippians 4;8 in the NLT translation says, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
It starts in your mind. Renew your mind, fix on what is GOOD. I promise if you guard your mind, your heart, things will drastically change.
