Now that the boys are in school, I’m finally able to take Liam out for day trips and city strolling (yay for shopping). It ALMOST, almost feels like I am alone. We know that’s only because Liam sleeps 90% of the time.
The weather has been amazing in Houston, so strolling outside and enjoying the cooler weather has been fantastic. It’s a sin not to be outside.
In the most recent years, Houston has developed a lot of outside shopping centers with fine dining and boutiques. They’re all family friendly (day or night) as well as perfect for date nights.
One of my favorite places to stroll is Hughes Landing in the Woodlands. One, because anything going away from the city means no traffic. Two, there’s always a parking spot. Haha!
In all seriousness, Hughes Landing is on a lake, and there’s just something about the water for me. Along with a few of my favorite boutiques being there, (like Kbkasuals and Macaron By Patisse) Hughes Landing is one of our favorite spots to go as a family.
When I’m alone, I’ll always leave Liam in his car seat and just use the car seat attachment for our City Select LUX stroller. The City Select LUX is our go to stroller. It goes from a single to double easily, and Liam’s pram is also compatible with the City Select LUX.
Did you know the City Select LUX stroller has the most riding options of any single to double stroller? It has over 20 configurations (so many I can’t even remember them all). There’s even a bench seat accessory you can purchase for your older child.
We LOVE our City GO infant car seat. It’s perfect for everyone, literally everyone! Even if you decide to take a trip to NYC and hail a taxi. The city GO car seat has an adjustable base, as well as a taxi-safe belt path. The headrest and harness are both adjustable and meet the needs of your growing babe while being safely secured.
The other reason why I love the City Select LUX stroller is that I can steer it one handed (I need all the hands I can get). Folding the stroller is also a piece of cake, it automatically locks (making it easy to carry) and it folds 30% smaller than the original City Select stroller! The all-wheel suspension and a decelerating hand brake also provide increased comfort and control for this all terrain stroller.
If you are a growing family, the City Select LUX convertible is the stroller to get! I promise this stroller will not disappoint.
