Final Thoughts on Pregnancy with My Green Mattress

Liam’s Nursery may be my new favorite room in the house. And today you’ll get a sneak peek along with my final thoughts as we get ready for Liam to make his arrival.

I have so many different feelings, and emotions all wrapped up together. I go back and forth on feelings of excitement, joy, fear and the “holy crap I’m going to have three kids” feeling.

Liam can come any day now (and I hope it’s sooner rather than later). But despite the anxiousness of wanting not to be pregnant any longer, I am trying to enjoy these last few days before Liam gets here.

The idea of having three boys scares the living day lights out of me, but I am also so excited for this new journey. I can’t wait for the crazy long (and sleepless nights) ahead of us.

I’m excited to see who Liam will look alike. Will he have blue eyes or brown? I know he will have blonde hair, but will he also have that cute little button nose the boys did?

I’m excited to see how the kids will interact with Liam, and how goofy they will be with him trying to make him laugh.

I’m excited to hear him say his first word. I hope he says “mama” because both boys said “dada” first.

I’m excited to see him accomplish all the big milestones like learning to roll over, eating, sitting up, standing, walking, etc.

Most of all, I’m excited to hold Liam. I took for granted with the boys was not slowing down, and this time around I am vowing to slow down more, to soak in every little moment. Every snuggle, every feeding, every bath, and bedtime routine.
