Happy Monday!!!

I hope you had a great weekend!

Everyone is at home today because the city of Houston is shut down due to flooding and the county I live in has been declared a disaster zone (we are thankfully okay!). We got slammed with so much rain over night and will continue to get rain for the next 4 days or so. I couldn’t sleep all night because I kept playing out scenarios of what would happen if we got hit with a small tornado… I’m a bit paranoid! If you are in Houston, please please be safe, it’s not worth it, don’t go out thinking you can make it!

Lets move on to this GOOOOORRRGEOUS floral maxi dress from The Devlin Collection. I mean the color, the print, the dress, it’s all just stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice! I actually wore this dress for the boy’s birthday with a pair of flat sandals and I got compliments on it from everyone.

This maxi dress is a little too long for my 5’3 self to wear with flats, but when I pair it with heels it’s the perfect length. I love the details on the back of the dress along with the black split, va va voom anyone?! For this look because it is a very girly dress with very girly floral prints I went with details that had a bit more edge. I kept the colors all the same but again, went with edgy details like the studded sandals and the statement bib. I love the idea of also adding a denim jacket or even a leather vest (or jacket) for even more edge!

This is a perfect dress for the hotter days to come and perfect to wear for a date night, Wedding, or make it casual for a weekend look! P.S. You can find more from The Devlin Collection at Nordstrom or Dillards and get a cosmetic bag with your in store purchase! Available exclusively at Dillard’s from April 11th- April 25th and at Nordstrom from April 25th-May 1st.

Thank you SO much for stopping by! Have a great Monday!
