Happy 4th of July!
I hope you are enjoying your long weekend!
Let’s talk floral tops. I feel like it’s always a hit or miss with floral tops, some can be way to busy. I tend to opt for floral pieces that have a bit more “empty” space I guess you could say? Others I am just swooning over, like the one I am wearing today. I love the blush color along with the ruffled hem. The cut of the top makes it a bit more girly too. I actually feel like the girl next door with this look. Haha, love it though!
I’ve been keeping things super short and sweet around here, and really that’s because life has just been so busy. With everything that has happen, I’m just feeling uninspired and empty. Which is why this vacation couldn’t come at a better time. I feel like I need a breather, a refresher. Do you ever feel like things just become mundane? Well, that’s how it’s been for me.
I have kept myself so busy with everything that has happened not to avoid the feelings, but to move on. I’m still processing and sometimes can’t really believe that I really did have a miscarriage. To say those words out loud, just hurts. But still knowing God is under control gives me peace.
I had planned to still post all this week while being on vacation, but as I am typing this up, I just feel a strong tug from the spirit that I need a break- mind, body and spirit. So, this will be my only post for this week! I will be of course sharing our trip on IG and Snapchat (@uptwnwithellyb) . So come follow along there! But as for the blog, I will see you next week!
Have a great week!
xoxo,
