I have had my Flywheel Sports bike for close to a year now, I will admit I have not been as diligent as I should have using it, BUT.. this year that will change. However, I have ridden it enough times to get a feel for the bike and to share some of my favorites specs.
Along with sharing a mini review on the Flywheel Sports bike I also wanted to share with you my favorite workout programs. All programs I have completed and LOVE, there is also a pregnancy, and postpartum program for my expecting momma’s!
First, let’s talk about the bike. I have gotten a lot of questions on why I chose the Flywheel bike over the Peloton, and for good reason! To be honest, they’re the same (kind of); there isn’t much of a difference other then Peleton has more classes in their database (this also coming from someone who works at Peloton). Flywheel does continue to come out with more classes everyday.
Flywheel gives you the option of building your bike (that is the biggest difference), meaning you can buy the bike with or without a tablet. Both bikes require the $39 monthly subscription to ride their classes. The bike without the monitor is about $300 cheaper.
If you choose to build your bike without the tablet- no worries, you can still experience by streaming to your Apple TV or Chromecast. You can also use your iPad, tablet, or mobile device — whatever is most convenient for you.
Each bike comes with a one-year warranty. The bike dimensions are 56″L x 20.5″W x 47″H (without tablet) dimensions with the tablet are 62″L x 20.5″W x 59″H. Bike weighs in at 120lbs, and comes with two water bottle holders. The Flywheel Sports bike has a steel frame with magnetic resistance.
Finally, the last thing I love is they also have workout classes in their app! From full body to glutes, they have a little bit of something for everyone!
Moving on to my favorite workout programs (again, all of these I have tried and HIGHLY recommend);
Jillian Michaels Body Revolution // I was in THE best shape of my life while doing the body revolution. Her workouts were quick, and THEY WORKED.
Jillian Michaels Killer Buns & Thighs // Again, by far, one of my very favorite workout programs. She’s brutal, but I love it!
P90X3 // I did this a few times with JB, and the workouts were great, but it requires a bit more of equipment like a pull-up bar. The difference between the P90X3 and P90X is the workouts are only 30 minutes long.
Tracy Anderson: The Pregnancy Project // Great during pregnancy! You do one CD every month, and it caters to that month and your growing belly.
Tracy Anderson: Post-Pregnancy Workout // I loved how in this program she focused on regaining your strength back, it’s about slowly building your strength back and listening to your body.
Sweat App/ BBG // To be honest, I have not completed a full 12 weeks BBG, I keep restarting and I don’t really know why. As much as I love her workouts, the repetitiveness makes me lose interest really fast. I will say, I am WIPED after her workout.
Have you tried any of the workout programs before? If so, comment below! Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day!
