Good to Be A Girl, & A Life Update

Well hello there! Happy Monday to you!!

I feel like it’s been way to long since I have actually sat down and done a fashion post. I wore this look last week while out and about trying to get errands done before leaving town. I have been a huge fan of crop jeans and have been on the hunt for a few more pairs (loving this one from Madewell).

I have had my eye on this J.Crew top for the longest time but in leopard and finally bought it (at least the sleeveless version of it). It has that preppy, but chic look that I love. I can’t wait to layer it once it starts getting cooler in Houston.

Love this cross body from Vera Bradley! It’s the perfect size, fits my wallet, sunglasses AND lipstick. It’s just great for the everyday look. I’ve been on the hunt for a black cross body and this one is perfect. I am loving all the new designs from Vera Bradley. All the quilted looks are killing me! This cross body also comes in a satchel that is so adorable.

So an update on life. I feel like there is so much going on. We are currently visiting family up North and took the boys to NYC which they LOVED. Jordan is also back at work now after having 6 weeks off, and I am so not ready for him to be at work. The boys and I have loved having him home, we are going to miss daddy.

We are also remodeling our home. I am not sure how much we will actually do ourselves, Jordan and I are not the DIY kinda’ people and having little ones just makes everything more difficult. I also tend to get really impatient with things not being done and I am not sure how long we will be able to wait.

Just before we left last week we moved my office, the guest room, and the dining room around. Last week was pure madness. I sometimes wonder why we do crazy things! Jordan had 6 weeks off, and why did we wait until the last week to do things is just beyond me. It’s not like we procrastinated, we just didn’t realize until then that buying a new home really wasn’t the right move.
