We all want to be a better person, but how or what can we do daily, and what can we implement in our lives to really be a better us? Today I wanted to share how to be a better you, and what we can do to live a better life…
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Let your yes be yes, and your no’s be no. I know life is busy, and things come up. But I see it way too many times, when people back away from their word, or say something and do the complete opposite. Let your words and what you say hold value.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Be present. Turn off the phone, the electronics, and be present. Be in the moment, and enjoy what’s in front of you.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Forgive and let go. Forgiving and letting go is often better for you than who you are forgiving. Harboring resentment and those kinds of feelings can be toxic to you. Often it also leads to unhappiness, betterment, and discontent.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Give. Not only financially, but more of your time! Giving allows you to focus less on you, and more on others.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Be faithful. Be faithful to your family, your marriage, to your friends, to your job (the list can go on). Be devoted and reliable.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Be patient. This is for all my mama’s out there! Count to ten if you need to, or walk away if the kids are making you go crazy. When we practice patience, we become more understanding!
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Be kind. It costs us $0 to be kind. Practice holding the door open for others, helping an elderly with her groceries, or maybe even paying for the person behind us at Starbucks.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Work hard. Whether you are a teacher, or you work at a restaurant, work as if you were working for yourself. Work as if it was your company and give it your all.
HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU– Lead by example. People are watching; our kids are watching. Our kids are little sponges that soak up every little thing we do. Kindness and joy are contagious.
Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
