Humidity Proof Hair: Beauty & Lifestyle blogger Elly from Uptown With Elly Brown shares an easy tutorial for beating the heat with humidity proof hair.

Hello guys!

Today I am teaming up with Kroger to bring you a two video series get ready with me: Summer Edition! We are going to be talking hair and makeup and how to keep everything humidity proof and melt-proof!

Summer time can be brutal with the heat and humidity. Keeping things in place can be a challenge, especially if you live in Texas. I have had several trial and errors and have finally learned how to keep my hair in place with the Houston humidity. So for today’s video I want to share with on how to keep those locks in place!

Here are just a few reminders:

  1. Keep your hair healthy by doing a deep condition 1x a week. Coconut oil is great to keep your hair smooth and shiny during the brutal summer heat.
  2. Use the right products! Keep whatever look is it you’re going for in mind, and use the right products to help you achieve the right results. ei; smoothing shampoo and conditioners for smooth, sleek styles!

Products mentioned:
Coconut Oil / Herbal Essences Smooth Moringa Oil Shampoo & Conditioner / L’Oreal Sleek it Straight Spray / L’Oreal Lock It Weather Control Hairspray

Thank you so much for stopping by, stay tuned for video number two coming later this week. If you enjoyed learning how to get humidity proof hair, be sure to check out more hair posts before you go.

Super helpful guide, especially for me, since I live in Hong Kong where the humidity is constantly at 100%!

You should know that Everly does not stand by their product. After a friend of mine lost a stone in one of 2 rings, they agreed to replace it. The ring then lost ANOTHER stone and the other ring lost one, as well. She would not refund my friend the money and threatened her with credit card fraud. I don’t think she understands what that is. And, even shadier, changed her return policy immediately after. Good thing people have screen shots of her original policy.

No way!!! I have not had any problems at all. I am so so sorry your friend had to go through all that. Gosh, that’s a nightmare. 🙁
