How to: No Candy Easter Basket

This post is sponsored by Burkes Outlet. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

‘Tis the season for Easter baskets, annnnnnd all that candy and sugar. This year, we are doing things a little different. 2018 is the year I want to be conscious of the foods we are eating and what we are putting into our bodies. This year we are doing a NO-CANDY EASTER BASKET.

Why did I put that in caps? Well, I’m kind of excited. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before, but the last several years, I have bought candy, and we all ate WAY too much, and I even threw candy out because they got really old (like almost a year old).

This year, as I said, I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of buying candy, what about I buy toys?! And yea, technically my kids don’t NEED any more toys, but it’s better than candy. And instead of buying more cars and balls, I bought educational toys and games (they have been really into board games and puzzles).

During Christmas, I shopped for all our gifts and toys at Burkes Outlet. I was BLOWN away by the great finds and what I was able to get while still staying on budget. There is nothing better than getting everything plus more and being on a budget.

This time around, I was happily surprised (yet again) at all the great finds I found online and how much I saved!
