Happy Wednesday!
As we approach cooler temps I think one of the biggest struggle everyone has is how to transition your wardrobe from Summer into Fall. Although there are several ways to do so, today we are going to talk about one way to do so.
I wore this dress a few weeks ago to the grand opening of the Luxington Boutique here in Houston. I love the print and the colors of this dress and couldn’t possibly think about just wearing it for a few more weeks. Even though the dress does have long sleeves the sheer fabric makes it light and airy.
I’m all for making things easy and being able to wear one piece multiple ways. So how do we make summer dresses work as we transition into Fall? Easy…add a pair of booties/boots. Ground breaking right?! Hahah! Side note: get ready to see these boots a WHOLE lot. I got these boots at the #Nsale and I am so happy I got them! #noshame
All jokes aside…adding a pair of boots or better yet, a pair of velvet boots (got my eyes on these) to your dress is a great way to make your look fall appropriate. What if your dress has short sleeves? No problem, drape over a denim jacket or leather jacket and you are good to go! You can also try to add fall accessories like I did for my look to create more of a fall look.
