I’m actually embarrassed to admit how many blazers I have in my closet. Just last week I went to Zara and needed to pick up only ONE thing. Well, while I was at the check-out line- I spotted two and couldn’t say no. The truth is though, I can never have enough blazers (just like my shoes). I want them in every color style, color, and pattern available. Maybe that is a bit much, but meh ??‍♀️. Blazers though are NOT only for the cooler seasons. They can and SHOULD be worn in the warmer months (find linen ones for the summer). So, whether you are headed out to run errands or planning a date night I wanted to show 10 ways on how to wear a blazer with shorts this summer!

Now that we know that I have a DEEP love for blazers? …  I just love how polished they can make even the most casual outfit look. Blazers to me are the easiest way to dress up an outfit without trying! You can dress them up, or dress them down, and each blazer has a different cut, and fit to them. Making them very versatile and for anyone!

These looks have me ready for a date night or a fun girl’s night out. You can always make boxy blazers a bit more feminine. For the first outfit, pairing it with eyelet shorts and a feminine heel makes the outfit sweet, but sassy.

The second out, drawing in menswear inspiration with the hat, but off-set it with heels makes the look interesting and fun!

Menswear-inspired, and suits are everywhere! But, this isn’t so much of a trend. A suit look whether it’s with shorts or pants, is in fact a look that will always be “in” at least in my book. So even if gingham isn’t your thing- you can try this look with a solid color.

Polished and chic. If you are more into feminine styles, then pair your blazer and shorts with ballet flats. You can add feminine details like a headband or jewelry.
