Happy Friday! Lets talk about how to wear bootcut jeans and why you should have AT LEAST one pair in your closet. Let me start off by saying that you should not throw out all your skinny jeans. I love my skinnies, but my bootcut jeans will always be my go to when I want to look tall and elongated. I’m 5’3 so sometimes I need allllll the help I can get.
Bootcut jeans can be worn with anything just like skinny jeans. My favorite way to wear them is with a tucked in shirt and with a belt. Don’t think because your jeans are bootcut that you need to balance the look out with a slim or skinny top, Bootcut jeans look great with a chunky sweater and heels too! The biggest thing you need to pay attention to is the length of your jeans. Avoid having your jeans so long that they are dragging on the floor, also avoid them being more than two inches from the floor. You should not be able to see your whole shoe, I repeat you should not see your whole shoe! You are defeating the purpose of them elongating your legs and creating the longer silhouette illusion by them being too short.(does that make any sense?)
I love these True Religion Becca Bootcut twisted seam denim. The Becca denim is True Religions signature bootcut silhouette and it features a bold stitch detailing (double stitching) to highlight the construction and fit of the jeans. The twisted seam also creates the long silhouette making my legs look really long- now THAT is #winning!
