How to wear a bright pink dress all year

Hello first Monday of 2016! To beat the Monday blues from all the time off, lets add a little pep in our step and talk about how to rock a bright pink dress! A bright pink color like this can be worn many ways and all year round but, unfortunately not many wear it. I will admit I’m a sucker for anything pink. I told my husband for Valentine’s Day I want pink red bottoms and he thinks I’m crazy because I will never wear them. Little does he know! Haha!

So what do we pair such a loud color with?

1. Neutrals! You can choose to make it stand out and pair it with black and make a very girly color a bit ‘tough’, Adding black will give your look some edge. And, if you want even more edge- add black booties and a leather jacket (I think I found my next blog post)! You can also pair it with other neutral colors like white, grey, nude, or navy.
2. Go bold or go home! I love the combo of a bright pink and red (perfect Valentine’s Day look). I also love the contrasting colors of green and pink. Just do be cautious with green and pink, you may want to off set both colors with neutral accessories or shoes to offset the bright colors. Ie; if your wearing pink bottoms (pants or a skirt) and a green top, offset it with a neutral colored belt.
3. Pair it with softer hues in the same color. Just like I did here with my purse and dress, a softer hue will offset the bright color and still look so incredibly chic!
