How to Wear Velvet

Guys, Thanksgiving is TOMORROW. AHHHH! Are you ready? I am not. Not even close. Every year I tell myself I am going to prep weeks in advance, grocery shop a week before. And somehow that all goes out the window, here I am a day away, and I have got zero done. The worst part is I don’t even have an excuse for it, ha! #notsorry

2.  Layer it up. Add a soft cardigan and dress it up with heels. You can even add a belt over the cardigan for extra texture and to cinch the waist.
3. Or, layer it down… This slip velvet dress is great to layer (as you can see). If you live anywhere in the US that has a Winter (totally jealous, we are still in the 80’s) you can opt for chunkier fabrics like I did here. I love the idea of wearing the dress under a sweater and letting the details of the floral dress pop at the hem.
