I have Irish twins, meaning Jadyn and Colin are under a year apart. With having Irish twins there comes many struggles, BUT there are also many benefits. One of them is having a joint birthday party. I have been throwing joint birthday parties for years now, and oh how I love it!
This year though takes the cake. Not only for Jadyn and Colin but how little party prepping I did. In the past years, I have always had a birthday party at our house, and we all know how that goes… it’s messy, and you are practically working THE ENTIRE DAY.
Last year we did the joint birthday outside, and we had a water theme with water balloons. Yes, the kids had fun, but IT WAS A NIGHTMARE picking up the popped balloons all over the yard. Never again.
This year we decided to take the party outside the house, it was the best decision we could have made! The kids not only had a BLAST (and were talking about it for days after). But Chuck E. Cheese’s did all the work and took the stress out of planning for us.
They literally could have taken care of everything- from the cake to the decor and more! All I did was reserve the birthday party date, pick out one of Chuck E. Cheese’s fun birthday party packages and sent out the invites.
I went with the Mega Super Star Play birthday package. All the kids had free rein for a full 2hours to play ALL the games. Our birthday package also came with a collectible cup to take home, a goody bag PER child, dipping dots PER child, AND both Jadyn and Colin got a chance to win the Magic Ticket in the Ticket Blaster!
I wanted to have a theme for our joint birthday party, so I ended up buying our cake, cookies, and small decor items/table placements. If you choose to go that route, don’t forget to bring your decor the night before the party, and they will have it all set up for you day of!
The party was such a huge hit with everyone! I am so glad we went this route this year, and believe me, it won’t be the last year!
Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day!
