A special thank you to Janie and Jack for collaborating and sending us the kids clothing. As always all thoughts are 100% my own.
2017 is coming to a close. Just like that, the year is over! Time flies when you’re having fun huh?! I’m hopeful for 2018; I always love closing out the end of the week or the end of the year and reevaluate things in your life.
This year was a good year. We had little Liam, as a family, we explored new cities, we went on vacations, we learned, we laughed, and we grew.
But there is and will always be room for growth. With adding another little human being into the family, its brought on some challenges and some changes into everyone’s life. I mean, I thought to go from one to two was hard. But let me tell ya, two to three is a circus.
At the end of the year, Jordan and I always evaluate ourselves as individuals, as a married couple, and as parents. What could we have done a better job, what do we need to change, and what do we need to do more of?
For 2018, as a mother, there is one BIG thing that is weighing in my heart. And that is, I need to slow down. I am incredibly guilty of letting the everyday duties and mundane get in the way.
I can get so consumed with my mile-long list, that I’m moving from point A to B in such a hurry, I am missing the precious moments in life. So for 2018 as a mother, my only goal and to-do list is to slow down. To get on their eye level and appreciate every moment life gives us. Will you join me in 2018 in slowing down and enjoying all the moment’s life provides us?
Let me close off by highlighting how stinking cute these boys look in their Janie and Jack clothing! Janie and Jack sent us some kids clothes and guys… I just can’t. I’ve always been a fan of Janie and Jack. And actually, Jadyn and Colin’s homecoming outfit was from Janie and Jack.
This was what the boys wore for the Christmas service at church, and I love the varsity look. They look like they are 4 and 5 turning to 14 and 15. And yes, I am guilty of pretty much always dressing Jadyn and Colin alike (sorry, not sorry!). Hopefully, they won’t hate me for it!
Janie and Jack sale is HUGE right now; some items are 60% off! Colin’s sweater is $20, and the quilted joggers are $14 (hurry, not many sizes left)!! Talk about a steal. The quality is impeccable as well, the colors don’t fade, and the clothes don’t shrink! I have bought so many cute kids clothing from other retailers before only for them to shrink after washing. Thankfully with Janie and Jack, I don’t have to worry about that!
Make sure to visit Janie and Jack and check out their sale. Everything the boys are wearing and be found linked below.
