My very last pregnancy outfit. I can’t believe it, feels like I was pregnant yesterday. Okay, that’s not true but, I feel like I was pregnant for so long that me sharing my last pregnancy outfit seems unreal!
To wrap up my very last look, I wanted to do a pregnancy FAQ. I did get a lot of postpartum questions as well, and I have saved all those questions and will be answering them in a separate post (stay tuned for that).I didn’t want to have information overload in one single post, so I figured it would be best to keep it separate.
What are your favorite Maternity Brands?
Oh, so many! Asos, Isabella Oliver, Bae the Label, Soon Maternity, Seraphine, and Legoe.
What are your favorite Amazon Maternity brands?
I didn’t buy a whole lot of maternity clothes from Amazon. Actually, I didn’t buy any maternity clothes from Amazon. Reason being, I didn’t feel like going through the whole return process if something didn’t fit or didn’t work out.
Will you be selling your maternity clothes?
Yes! I have already sold a ton of items. If you want a particular item I have worn just DM me on Instagram. I am keeping my denim and staple items though, but everything else I am.
Any tips on inducing labor naturally?
Unfortunately, I don’t really have any. I think you can do all the tricks in the book, and baby will come out when he/she is ready no matter what you do or don’t do. What always worked for us was sex and making sure you hit the O. Oh wow, I can’t believe I just shared that, haha!
You can also try walking, gentle birth, bounce on a bouncing ball, and nipple stimulation.
What are your favorite Prenatals?
I used to take these, but after having blood work done I found out I was anemic, so I switched and starting taking the One a Day Prenatal with a bit more iron.
What are your favorite and easy breakfast during pregnancy?
Oatmeal with strawberries. Or, eggs and the Central Market frozen pancakes (they are SO good).
How many cups of coffee are you drinking daily?
I limit myself to two cups a day.
What was your skin care regime during pregnancy?
My skin care regimen isn’t anything crazy. As far as acne products or salicylic acid I kept my skincare the same. Reason being my skincare regimen doesn’t have anything that’s super concentrated.
Generally speaking, ingredients like retinoids hydroxy acids are topically safe. It’s when they are taken orally that’s the problem. Overall try to avoid products in large amounts of salicylic acids and other hydroxy acids. If you want to read more, you can take a look here.
Did you still get your nails done during pregnancy?
Yes! I refuse to give my up nails, haha! For the most part I got a shellac and pedicure every two weeks. If you don’t feel comfortable getting a shellac, you can try dip powder.
How did you deal with swelling during pregnancy?
My biggest advice for swelling is to listen to your body. Rest and kick your feet up when you can. Drink lots of water and workout.
What was your workout schedule like during pregnancy?
Well, I started off with a great schedule working out 4x a week. As I got bigger, it got harder to work out. I didn’t work out at all at the end of my pregnancy. My sciatic pain was too much to deal with.
Sex during pregnancy, what are your thoughts?
Keep on keeping on. Haha! I know as you get bigger it gets harder to have sex. But I think it’s important to stay intimate with your man. So if you can have sex, do it.
Can you sun bathe/ use tanning lotion?
Yes, you can sun bathe, and yes you can use tanning lotion. My favorite tanning lotion is the VeraSpa Tanning lotion
Any tips on avoiding stretch marks?
To be honest, I don’t know if you can avoid stretch marks. I have read so many articles that say it’s a genetic thing and can’t be prevented, so who knows! What I did was apply oil 2x a day and drink tons of water. The main thing is to keep your skin hydrated. Also, whatever you do, DO NOT scratch your belly!
Hope you guys enjoyed the Q&A. As always, if you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to email or DM me. Also, I want to mention that I am not a doctor (obviously) and if you are ever unsure about something during pregnancy, please contact your doctor and seek medical advice before anything.

Such a cute outfit! Loved the Q & A too…it makes me feel better knowing I did a lot of the same things as you during pregnancy and there’s nothing to feel guilty about. 🙂
Thank you, Erin!
What stroller do you plan on using? I use the Uppababy Vista and whenever I am our running errands with my newborn, I use the bassinet attachment. It is very timeless. Also, could you please post some athleisure, golf, or tennis outfits. I wear these everyday and would appreciate some more inspiration. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Hey April, I am using the Baby Jogger City Premier. And I will add that to my list of looks to share! Thank you!!
