Happy Monday! Can we first talk about the weather this weekend?! It has been perfect here in Houston. Football is also back on which makes it even sweeter AND the Cowboys won last night, all is right in my little world!
When Fall comes around everyone runs to Starbucks to get Pumpkin spice latte, well I run to get my peppermint white mocha. I actually have been really bummed on what once used to be a $3 cup is now a $5 cup. So to save some money I actually bought the peppermint syrup from Starbucks and now make my own peppermint white mocha at home #heaven. Fall is near y’all, Fall is near!
I got this dress on major sale at Pomp & Circumstance and it happened to be the only one left so I knew it was just for me! When I pulled this dress out to wear I wanted to try something different. I am a BIG (when I say big I really mean huge) fan of how J.crew style their dressy items with baseball cap and sneakers. I never really tried the dress and sneakers trend till now, and I am obsessed!
There aren’t many rules on this look. You can wear a monochromatic look, or you can rock out a pattern dress + pattern sneakers. Just DON’T actually wear your workout shoes, leave those in the gym bag. You can also wear this trend in the 9-5 job. Key to making that work is opt for a low-key sneakers with no patterns or bold colors. Lastly, if your going to be dipping your toes into this trend, be confident and werk it! You can pull off just about any look if you wear it with confidence!
Hopefully you are inspired to try this trend! If anything your feet will thank you for wearing sneakers instead of heels + you look extremely cool!
