Leather + Lace

I know I don’t normally post on a Sunday but, I feel like I have been gone for so long and I missed not posting on Friday (I also love this look and really wanted to share with you!)

Leather and lace. It’s the perfect combination of naughty and nice. It’s tough but sweet. Best of both worlds! A leather jacket/vest can be worn with anything, pair it with dressy maxi, or a tee and jeans.

So how do you wear a leather jacket or a motto vest? Here are a few tips…

First thing is you need to make sure it fits you. Do not buy a vest that is too small or too big. The jacket should sit right at your hips. DO NOT buy them any shorter (I have horrible flashbacks of those short denim jackets, the ones with where the length was at your mid ribcage- you know what I’m talking about right?) Second, wear them as a cape and just throw them over your shoulders! It’s effortless and chic all at the same time. Third, wear them with sneakers! You don’t have to always wear leather with heels!
