What an incredible difference the right wallpaper makes in a room. I love how our new living room space turned out. It looks so spacious and cozy!
Guys, can you believe our new brick wall from Walls Need Love is wallpaper?! I mean holy cow. I LOVE how our new living room turned out. What a difference! (I’m a bit obsessed as you can tell!)
Our house as you can see in pictures is an all open floor plan, and the new wall has completely transformed the whole space. Not only that, the bricks on the wall look real close up!!

^^ I wanted to share a few pictures on how it looks, and also how we cut around for the light switches. To do this all we used was a blade and traced along the holes on the wall.
This was our second project with Walls Need Love. We first did our powder room. Make sure to check it out for my tips on how to apply wallpaper. You’ll love the results too!
This time around the project took a little bit longer (more wall space duh), and it was also slightly more intense. The only reason being is because for it to look right, we had to align the bricks evenly (since they go horizontal). If it was a vertical print, I think it would have been a lot easier to apply.
Because of our archway, it also was a bit more tedious to make sure we trimmed and lined the paper evenly. Jordan and I are both very particular on how things look, so the archway was what took the longest for us.

So to keep things clean and not overdo the space, I went with simple white frames and shelves. Instead of doing a gallery wall as we did in our bedroom, I thought by adding layers and stacking the frames the way I did was the best route. I believe that it keeps the wall from being too busy and “flat,” if you know what I mean.
But overall, if you are applying wallpaper on a straight wall, it’s an easy project. And the transformation is incredible. Walls Need Love has so many removable (yup, you read that right!) wallpaper and murals to choose from. They even have sample sizes available for you order from before making your big decision.
A huge thank you to Walls Need Love for partnering with us to transform our living room. Don’t forget you can get a 25% discount on any orders over $30, use promo code: UTwEB. Valid Sep 1- Oct 15, 2017.

Hi Elly,
Love the brick wall! It is good to know that you applied the wallpaper easily and that it is removable! Wow! It’s awesome! I remember how we used to have wallpaper installed ages ago, it was a lot of work. Thank you for sharing.
Cheers,
Jessica
Hey Jessica, oh gosh I remember those wallpapers too! I used to have them growing up! Those were a nightmare!
With fake plants, there is no need to worry about watering, removal of dull leaves, using fertilizers, exposure to sunlight and other materials.
