Today I am sharing what might be one of my favorite photo shoots to date! I rounded my favorite pictures from our maternity shoot to share with you. And if you need maternity photo ideas I hope these can help!
I adore these pictures. This was the first time around for a fancy maternity photo shoot for me. And I’ll admit I almost didn’t do it. But I am so glad Julia convinced me to go through with these maternity photo ideas.
To be honest, this is a bit out of my comfort zone. I don’t know why, it just is. I knew I wanted to do something special, especially since Liam is our rainbow baby, but I kept thinking about the “buts” and “what if’s.” So silly right?
Can you believe this dress in under $75?! I found this dress at Lulu’s and thought how gorgeous would it be, especially since you can play with the straps and wear it multiple ways!
As far as the boys, I wanted to keep their outfits casual; I felt like if I were to dress everyone up in suits, it would almost be a false representation of who we are (does that make any sense?). Heck Jadyn and Colin don’t even own suits, so there’s that. Our boys are J’s and snap back kind of kids.
Also, it was like 95 degrees that day, Jordan was not about to step outside in a suit, and I would have never heard the end of it.

I can’t believe Liam will be here any day now. It’s crazy to think we will all be holding him and snuggling this sweet baby any day now. We are all so ready to meet him and can’t wait for him to be here!

I love the dress! This is the dress I chose for my bridesmaids and they all commented on how comfortable it was AND how cheap it was! I got mine off of Easy and the fabric was really thick and surprisingly heavy. They also ordered a bandeau top in the same fabric which helped with coverage and styling the top. These a gorgeous photos, you look beautiful!

I like that you pointed out that you chose to dress up in casual outfits to represent who you are. I would love to do that as well since I am a simple type of girl. My husband would like to have my pregnancy documented since it is our first time having a baby. So I hope to find a good photographer as soon as possible.
