Today we are going to talk all about one of the hottest trends this season- the bomber jacket. I gotta admit though, the name is kinda funny. You’re probably very well aware of this trend, Kayne wears it often.
This trend along with a few other ones have grown on me (one of them being scarves). I wasn’t on board with this look when it first came out but, they more I saw it and the more I saw different ways to style it, I became hooked. I really do believe this trend is great for anyone, not only can you find tons of different patterns like; embroiled, camo and patches. You also have different fabrics like; satin, leather and suede. So many different options!
The bomber jacket has got this menswear/military chic/street look vibe all in one. Like I have mentioned up top, my love for this trend has grown. I just bought my second bomber jacket, it’s pink and it was under $75! (I linked it below, it’s from Forever 21).
For my look, I added my jumpsuit dress…the fit works great with the jacket. I added my schoolgirl bag from Henri Bendel, I love how the green pops with the black and grey and the structured bag looks really well with the menswear look from the jacket. Last but not least, I went with fun and lady like shoes + a bold red lip just to keep things interesting!

Bomber over dress + red lip. Yessss! Love this look on you. I always feel like a bomber jacket shortens my torso too much, but with a dress it works!
Thank you Elizabeth! Yes the dress will draw the eyes down, You can also try it with a longer top, or even with high waisted jeans and a tucked top.
