Being a boy mom comes with its challenges, many challenges. From pee stains around my toilet (yes I went there) to finding mom and son matching outfits.
You can find PLENTY of mommy and me matching outfits, but a lot of them are for girls. Heck, just going shopping for my boys make me angry. The girl’s section makes over 50% of the store, and the boy’s section makes about 1/3 of the store. Just the other day I was in Target, and there was ONE rack with boys clothing, everything else was for girls!
Needless to say, it’s a frustration. But today I wanted to share three simple ways on how to match with your little man/men.
How to Nail Mom and Son Matching Outfits:
- Stick to your basics. Like denim jackets, leather jackets, military jackets, etc. You won’t find too many patterns for boys outside camo or stripes also.
- Opt for graphic tee’s. There are TONS, and I mean TONS of small shops with matching mom and son tees.
- When all else fails, find matching kicks. There are many same style shoes like Nikes, and converse that will complete your mommy and me outfit!
