Mommy Uniform and How to Rock A Headband

Happy Hump Day!

Y’all, I have had the hardest time waking up and getting stuff done before the kids wake up in the morning. I am NOT a morning person. I set my alarm every. single. night for 5am. And every. single. morning I hit snooze (like 5 times) I seriously give up, I have no idea what to do anymore! I feel horrible too because I always say I will cook honey breakfast and workout with him, and nope it never happens! It’s so bad that I have even tried putting my phone in the living room OUTSIDE our bedroom for me to actually get up and out of bed, and NOTHING. So if you have tips or tricks on getting out of bed, PLEASE tell me!

Moving on to outfit deets, I love headbands, I love how they look, and I love styling them differently. To be honest though, I was very intimidated by them at first! How will they look, what do I wear them with, and will they look okay with my short hair? So silly, I know! But after owning several different headbands and loving ALL of them, I feel like headbands are underestimated. I really believe anyone can pull them off. Here are my three tips on how to rock a headband…

1. The overall look you want to achieve with a headband is an easy, laid back look. They look best with sneakers/ flats and a tee, or a boho look. The key is to not overdo it.
2. Have fun with your hair! Wear it curly, or with a topknot. There is no rule here with your hair! I actually love wearing a headband on bad hair days!
3. Own it and wear it with confidence! You will always look how you feel. So if you feel silly or weird, then chances are you will translate that with your body language and there for look silly or weird. So work that headband girl!
